Posting Frequency

I’ve been thinking a lot the past week about how often I want to make posts. I’ve already come up with a long list of topics that I want to address, and it seems like I come up with a few more every project I work on. So, I’m not worried about running out of material. Unfortunately, there’s only so many hours I can dedicate to writing content each week amidst the marketing, bookkeeping, support calls, training, and (or course!) design work necessary to keep The Web Shop Site Potion operational.

I know I need to get at least one post out a week, or it will take years for this blog to reach the size I have in mind. Hopefully some weeks will see two or three posts, but I think one should be a minimum. I also like the idea of a new post on the same day of the week. I seem to have fallen into a pattern of Wednesdays which is working pretty well for me. I’ll stick with that for the time being.

Check back on Wednesday for a basic snippet of code (versions in PHP, ColdFusion, and ASP) that you can use to make your web forms a little safer from the wiles of malicious users.
