If a Blog Post Falls In the Woods…

It’s actually Monday night as I’m writing this post.  Normally, I’ll have a new post published each Wednesday at 10am local time.  Even though I’m obviously writing this post in plenty of time to meet that self-imposed deadline, I’m running a little experiment.  I want to see what kind of response I get if no post goes up.  So please take a second to select one of these options and let me know what reaction (if any) you had on Wednesday when there was no fresh Best Practices post.

What did you think about no post showing up at 10am on August 13th?

RSS Readers: The survey is run via a nifty little AJAX voting plugin for Wordpress.  I’m guessing many RSS feed readers won’t be able to handle it, so you’ll have to click through to the website version of the post in order to vote or see the results.  What do you mean you can’t be bothered to click through to my site?  It’ll take 5 seconds.  Of course there’s no voting incentive.  Man.  You guys are all heartless bastards.

  1. I enjoy reading your posts, but I really didn’t notice that there wasn’t a post on Wednesday. But then I read quite a few blogs, and I have trouble keeping up with all of them sometimes.

Anyway, thanks for the informative site!

  2. Jennifer, I think most of my readers probably had a similar reaction to yours.
