Disclosure

I’m Clay Mabbitt. I write the posts on this blog based on my experiences as a professional web designer. The name of my company is the The Web Shop. Since the target audience of this blog is other professionals, I’m not making any attempt to pitch my services. (I’m not promising I never will, or anything, there just doesn’t seem like there would be much point.)

Ads:
I do have ads on some of the pages in this site. I actually address this topic in one of my posts (Blog Monetization Ahoy). I won’t discuss if further other than to say, I don’t feel that the ads adversely affect the integrity of this site. If Google is hitting on all cylinders, they may even provide links to appropriate resources for you as you read. If not, just ignore them.

Affiliate Links:
When I talk about a product or service on this site, I’ll usually include a link to the main site for that product or service. If the option is available to do that through an affiliate link, I will. If that particular business does not have an affiliate program, I still link to the product or service. That’s the measuring stick by which I’m currently evaluating my integrity. When I start recommending one product or service over a superior competitor because I can make a little money, then it’s time to stop posting and join a sales team. I can’t imagine I would get much joy out of working on a sales team, so you’re all safe for now.
